6/18/2023 0 Comments Outlast comic![]() ![]() so this leads to her kidnapping at the end of the comics. Yet Marion can't leave Murkoff cause the company provides for his ill daughter, giving her medicines etc. In MA, Issue 4&5 he's trying to recruit Marion by giving him the coordinates of Temple Gate. ![]() The reaction of animals is very much of a tribute to animals' reaction to ghosts and other paranormal stuff, which implies Miles may not be dead but he's not alive in the sense that is common to normal people.īack to Peacock. Yet another interesting detail: Miles' neighbor says she saw him and it drove her dogs "batshit". This indicates that Miles through the Walrider is continually in control of the ants and that he can actually identify enemy from friend. Afterwards they get attacked by a whole lot of them. Considering Billy couldn't have possibly known Miles' address and/or bank accounts, it had to be Miles himself.Īnother interesting detail: when an ant bites Pauline, Paul say that black ants don't bite. So it has to be either Billy or Miles himself through the Walrider in Billy's head. He also states someone emailed Miles a swarm of ants. Same ants are seen chewing down Miles' apartment, as is stated by Paul Marion. We'll back get to Peacock a bit later cause there're some details in the location.Īfter Billy's death the Walrider got away in a swarm of ants. The Pauls meet Peacock near Miles' apartment, spying on them. It seems the situation here resembles Wernike's. Though unlike with Billy, the Walrider doesn't surround him but has to be there somewhere (perhaps inside the body, giving support to the half-rotten/half-burnt systems). Since there is no other explanation available that would be logical enough, it seems that it was again the Walrider who raised him from the dead. ![]() ![]() He is alive at the end of O: Whistleblower while in the comic is very much a corpse. Maybe just because they're main heros who aren't supposed to die at that point. So why don't the Pauls die with Billy? Well, maybe because it's the first time they are exposed to this shit. The villagers in OII scream in pain and cry: "Oh my head" after the second wave from the radiotower. What does it do to Billy? It leads to a bloodstroke that results in death. Just compare the "WHUMP! HUMMMMMMMMM" written on the comic page with the life sound and you'll see. What there is is the exact same sound we hear coming from the radiotowers in Outlast II. Outlast Wikia says Billy died in an explosion. Murkoff gets huge trucks to the Hopes trailer that look like rocket carriers or smth akin. The last thing that is important in Billy is his implied death (we never saw the body) in MA. This implies that the Walrider hosts can actually somehow commune with one another (by thought, most likely) - or that Miles can control Billy's actions through the Walrider. Then there is that strange fact: Miles' money bank was accessed from a comtower near Billy's home. He partially succeded: there seems to be needed at least some of the Walrider to keep Billy alive. doesn't seem to have a conscience of its own: hinted in the files of "PROJECT WALRIDER" in OI, - perhaps in a desperate try to fend the Walrider off back to its first host. It should have actually been Miles who resurrected Billy, since the W. Which is, of course, the exact same thing it did to Billy. He is lying to us a little bit, cause the Walrider actually raised him from the dead. In OI Wernicke himself says the Walrider healed him. Also some of the patients talk about "a dead doctor" and an email from one of the Murkoff's employees nick-names Wernicke "dead doctor friend" of Billy. The document is verified by Murkoff themselves so it has to be true. It can be found both in the game and in Barrels' murkoff.tumblr. He's also still a host to the Walrider, despite it migrating to Miles. In the MA we see him alive and kicking despite being very much dead at the end of OI. It's going to be "what the happened after Outlast: Whistleblower with the main characters?" and "what the fuck happened before Outlast I?". Here I'll explain the shit on a level that's higher than just "what the fuck happened in Outlast II?". Murkoff Account did a great job linking OI&OW with OII but it left me with more questions than answers. I got to Reddit to actually talk about this, cause I've never seen someone going through all of this before. ![]()
